Interesting, thanks for the link. I don't think his images are on the level of HCB though and seem much more in the style of Garry Winogrand.

I found them to be an interesting blast from the past, as I grew up in that part of the country during that time period.

They would get creamed in a challenge on DPC, however.

This really brings back memories. This is NYC in the exact time period when I was going to art school there :-)

Definitely in the Winogrand/Friedlander part of the spectrum. With a dash of Robert Frank.

Don't look too quickly at these.

I like the one where the two guys were standing ontop of standpipes watching the parade...Very odd
