I didn't look in details but for some reason first image on slider is not showing up. I am looking it further.

here is really fast on the contrary, and in italy we don't have fast connections as in the usa, believe me... ;-) also my friends told me that is so fast... strange...

@Big_Round: yes, there is a lot of text, but there are galleries also, by the way in this moment in my country is better to explain who you are and what you do in another way than with the images, there are too many images on our eyes...

on the weddings site i have more images than text (www.gbfotografia.com) but this is the institutional web site...

Looks beautiful - especially the food photos! You might want to check the google translation of the page ;-) "I am part of the Ass. Them National Professional Photographers ( TAU Visual ) , Ass. them National Wedding Photographers ( ANFM ) and Nikon Professional Services ( NPS ) ."

It was a bit slow to load at first but then came good.

I hit the Translate button and the blurb on the right translated to this:

Probably not something you can control, just something you could be aware of.

some more feedback!

The website looks more of a flat and not that interesting. Second since it is a Wordpress website why dont you look at an option to have "english" also in the language selection. This would help to the folks who do not know anything about Italian.

About slowness yes I felt that too there is a solution for this, login to "wp-admin" and then go to plugin, and say add new. On next screen do search for "WP Super Cache". Once you have it installed, turn on the cache. This would speed up your website to some extend.

About photography and categories, I think you need to add more of variations. In slider add some wedding too. Looking at the current selection I feel more like food/wine photography is your expertise and if that is the case then give that as high priority and less to any other category.

Not comparing your website with someone else but here is one example that shows the idea:

I really like the colors on your website, the photography is really good, and it looks professionally made. It also loaded fast for me. I've had trouble making the images on my website load faster.

I can read Italian so I know what you are selling. If I didn't read Italian though, I might think it is a website to buy food products , not photography, does that make sense? (I mean that in a good way, the food photos are really good)- of course I'm sure your audience is mostly national clients.
