Nah, my Olympus shoots 1:1, 16:9, 4:3, all as default settings. I know other cameras can also. Perfectly legal under this ruleset.

I'm down in that territory, and this time I was trying for the exact opposite.

An even 5.0 after 5 votes, ribbon territory!
12/21/2012 12:41:43 AM · #11
4.2 at 5 votes. And that's the highest it's been so far.
12/21/2012 12:47:01 AM · #12
4.2 after 7 - but it wont be around for much longer.

First vote was a 4, the rest have been much more favorable.

I thought my shot was reasonably good but I guess it's just ok. I can live with 'ok'.

A not unexpected outcome

Meh. Would be much better if this weren't minimal editing.
12/21/2012 09:38:39 AM · #20
woah. No holiday love for me, barely keeping my head above 3!
12/21/2012 09:42:35 AM · #21
texture shots scream for b/w and the 'desaturation' tool just does not do the trick...grumble, grumble, grumble.

Score is okay but I sure wish I could finish the image.

I say we do a side challenge after voting is done as to what you wish your pictured looked like for an advanced editing entry. I know mine could have used some PP. but that's what makes minimal so challenging.

Right up there with the rest.

Happily enough, my image looks pretty much exactly as I'd want it to, at least assuming I'd made the decision NOT to slather it with layers of CEP4 and Viveza...
