I want to thank everyone for their great comments, I took many pictures of these subjects but this was the one I considered as the "best" of the lot, and I''ll be honest I didn''t notice that the feet were cut off (until everyone started pointing it out to me <grin>). I was so excited that I had a "great" picture to submit for the challange it went right past me. Lesson learned. Thanks.

Here is a link to a few selected pictures from that day ( www.photoaccess.com/share/guest.jsp?ID=AFB813242D5&cb=PA ) and Here is a link to all the pictures taken that day ( www.photoaccess.com/share/guest.jsp?ID=A095D9141CE&cb=PA ).

wow, that must've been exciting to photograph. and i know how you feel. you fall in love with one of your shots and you miss something obvious ... i've done that before, too. from the pose of the ponies, i think you picked the best one for the challenge. apart from that, my favorite was #40 in your list, with a bit of cropping to make it tighter that would've been awesome, too.

And just to make matters worse, I took the pictures on sunday afternoon and didn't get to work on them till later that night...
There were a couple that I liked but I had a hard time deciding, most had people or other things in the background that I either couldn't crop out or would have had to crop too much.

#40 stuck out at me too! The positioning of the horses is really interesting.
