Hi everyone,

For those of you who are using Flipboard, you can search for and add "DPCFrontPage" to your channels. The top ten winners for each challenge are featured in this Flipboard feed.

For those who don't know what Flipboard is, it's a really cool app available for free in both IOS and Android. What it does is it consolidates your most favorite news feed in one place so you don't have to worry about typing URLs. It offers a very nice reading experience for news feeds with majority text content, and an equally really nice slideshow / flow for feeds containing mostly images.

I haven't participated much in challenges lately, but there's not a week when I did not log in to dpchallenge just to see what new lovely pics you guys have to show me. And now that it's up there on Flipboard, all the easier it is for me to check out the latest winners.

Give it a try. Here are some screen grabs from my iPad. (The Android version on my galaxy is a much lighter, yet equally awesome app).

I sent a note about this to Langdon a few days ago. I haven't gotten a reply yet. But for those who may be worried about some issues, here are some points you may want to know:

Bandwidth: It requires minimal traffic from the site, much much less than a browser downloading several full pages on dpchallenge.

Copyright: The site and the photographers are all given full credit. The photos themselves are merely embedded from their original location on dpchallenge servers, and not downloaded and mirrored on some other online locations. Flipboard is nothing more than a digest and bookmark service. If you see anything you like, click on it and it leads you back to the source website -- in this case, dpchallenge.com.

Others: please feel free to message me. I created it originally for my personal use, but i realized that it might be something you may want to use also, so go ahead and give it a try.

A by-product of this project is that it actually required me to automate an RSS feed for Flipboard. I've done some searches on the forums and i saw some people asking for a DPChallenge RSS. I can give the url if anyone asks.

c'mon guys. i assure you this is something great.

this is for those who had been asking for quick access (better than rss) to dpc without drifting away from the main site. this is for those who had been asking for a different look and feel to the site without fixing what isn't broken.
