Congrats to the winners this week - and to everyone, there were many great photos - took so long to vote, but got them all!
Something I noticed...I'm reviewing the results, here at work, and some photos appear different - due to the screen. This screen points out some of the 'little' things that could be improved - not that it would change my vote, but maybe could've commented constructively. So I guess what I'm saying is that what a difference the screens make to the photos - at least for the technicality aspect of voting.
And Can I SAY WOW - Over 200 submits this week! I'll have to organize my week accordingly. GOOD LUCK TO ALL THE ENTRANTS!!!

I noticed that different monitors display varied results myself. Duh. I have made it a point to keep my screen calibrated now with the adobe gamma thingy. It may not be the best calibration tool, but its better than nothing. If you have photoshop, I believe this tool should be in your control panel options (for windows anyway). |

I got major-league burned this week cause I was forced to do my editing on a laptop LCD. When I finally got a chance to view my entry on a good, calibrated monitor, I was horrified to see how dark and useless the stuff on the left was. |

I see what you mean - I have the same problems. The photo is still pretty good. Maybe a little cropping.
