I was wondering if anyone besides me gets very anxious about seeing peoples responces to posts that you post. I keep refreshing the home page to see if any one has said anything about or to me. If you have this problem or a silmilar one let me no.

Step away from the refresh button.. step slowly and with your hands up.

yep....I'm currently seeing a therapist about this issue....doing very well and have overcome some childhood fears that seems to come up amist and linked from hitting the refresh botton. :) For real, sometimes...depends on the ideas of others that I'm talking too....and loveing the imput and converstaions as if it was in real time with anyone...I see no difference....However, if this causes you to take meds, I would rethink about hittting that refresh botton again....:))

ROFL!

Do you feel the same way about the refresh button for challenges? :)

Actually, depending on the reason of my post, sometimes I check back on the thread too frequently.

It depends on the subject. If it is one that I am interested in I will check the thread often to see if there are any more responses.

Thankfully I did when I went to the grocery store. I appreciate the comments everyone has made. I am always hitting the refresh button for every topic!

So there's a good idea -- we should start tracking a new statistic: refreshes per comment (rpc, for short). It would go like this: If during the course of a weeklong challenge you refresh 300 times and get 10 comments, you have a 30:1 rpc quotient. 150 refreshes with 15 comments yields a 10:1 rpc quotient, and so on. The higher the number the more neurotic or anxious you are. Not that those of us with high anxiety levels mind having a high rpc quaotient; perhaps we would wear it like a badge of honor.

Whadya think?
