LOL - I have been away for a couple years and I have found that I really miss it. I do photography as a hobby - something fun to learn and the only way I found to get better was the "constructive" input from fellow DPCers. Hopefully someday my scores will reflect improvement! Glad to be here again.

Welcome back.

I'd like to add to your observation about the way to improve. I find I improve as much, if not more, by writing constructive comments on other's photos. It forces me to study them more closely, and try to figure out what makes them work or not work. This can then be applied to my own photography.

Welcome back, Staci! I really like this one of yours:

I treat DPC as a game of golf. If I beat my average, I win. If I don't, I will next time!

The friends... are just... well... the best part. :D

Thanks All! I feel inadequate sometimes when giving critiques during challenges but I do try to :)
I know I won't be to the level that some are but yes - always striving to set new personal bests.

If you don't give advice, you won't feel inadequate. Just say what you like and don't like, and if possible why you feel that way. It is amazing how much this will improve your photography.
