| I don't mean to complain, but it's 11:00 pm where I am, and yet I am unable to submit. I have never submitted anything before, and I was really excited about my first try. Sadly, however ,I was physically unable to submit my photo before now, and now seems to be too late (even though it's still before 12:00). Is there no way that I can get my photo in? |

The submission deadline is midnight, Eastern time. Since you live in California that would be 9PM your time. Sorry you didn''t make it.

Sorry nightfall -- in the rules it talks about when the deadline is:
Times for challenge changeovers are in GMT -05:00 (Eastern Time US & Canada). The exact server time can be found in the challenge forums.
In other words, the next challenge always starts at 12:00 midnight East Coast time in the US and not wherever you're at. Like it says there in the rule, you can check that time by looking at the bottom of a forum page. |

| hmmm, alright. I guess that's a negative on any tiny possibility of squeaking in one last photo for this challenge then, eh? Thanks for the tip, anyways. |

| Sorry to hear about your submission issue, as another San Diegan I totally understand the difficultly of trying to get my picture in on time before our west coast deadline of 9pm. I really need to stop procrastinating. Nightfall, post a link to your picture and well give you some comments. |

Shame you didn't get it in under the wire. It's a nice shot. Since you are showing texture, I think the half dollar needs to be as sharp as the rest of them, but that's just me. I likely would have given you an 8.
