An old DPC feature is back, and it's better than ever. You can access a user's comment record of both comments made and comments received through his or her profile. On the browsing page, you'll see a couple more neat options for your browsing.

Much like our other newest features, I truly hope it'll encourage you guys to comment more. I also hope it'll help make looking at your old and new comments much easier.

Happy Commenting!

Better then ever before.
Very cool, and with the "found this helpful" tool I can check if people like my Critique club comments. :)

Awesome that you can now check your whole comment history. Bot received and given. Helps to discover those comments that are made weeks later.

You guys are introducing great features lately. Thanks!
I will now order a "I love DPchallenge" sticker for my car. :)

I like it to .. check if my comments have been helpfull and everything ..

I DO NOT LIKE IT I am not sure that i's all good to see all the comment that somebody has made. It's hard to explain .. but to me it 's somehow like ... it's fine to have data about people in diferent file in different administrations in a country , but if you compile all of it , it's not good. Not exactly what I meant to say but kind it. it might be good to see comment people are leaving, so you can see it they troll or not. But seeing all of them ...

This week for humor, I pasted in every comment a sentence explaining something like 'this week I vote more on the humour side than the quality' .. now when somebody is going to look at my profile, they are going to see 4 pages of this with just a score, only a few comments, and the more in depth comment I might have done went in the past.

So now I am regretting I have done that (even if I thought it was nice to explain how I voted even if I did not comment much). I am going back and remove them unless I left a real comment and not only how I scored the picture.

OMG. I didn't realize that you can now list every single comment that someone's made. I'm not sure I really like that. It reminds me of this site I used to frequent and had to quit because they started listing links to every single forum post we'd ever made. It was just a little too easy for total strangers to gather too much info.
I try to make useful comments, but I'm not sure why anyone else needs to be able to go read all of them at once.

Hehehe, I looked at some of the comments I've left... but... good luck to anyone who wants to read through ALL 40 PAGES! And every one of them unique :P. I'll be adding more this week, since for the past fortnight I've been away and haven't been able to vote or comment as usual.

By the way, I do think it the good job and implmeneted flawless. Well no need to discuss more.

I personnally do not have anything to hide tha was not exactly what I meant. My comments are done and they were attached to the picture anyway. So it's not to hide....

I started to type a long thing to explain .. I deleted it .. this is not the place ,maybe talking verbally ies easier for those things

Anyway I do not like it 100% but it's well done and .... this feeling will not prevent me from commenting or posting or liking the site.

I think you guys have outdone youeselves with this one. As far as making it easier for someone to look at all of your comments at once for some twisted reason.... Only the FBI or CIA would come here for information anyway.

I just found you can change it to 10 per page so that gives me 219 pages, so there!

Keep up the good work and do have fun.

Looking at the evolution of my comments I realize that mine were pretty useless when I started out. I'd hope to think mine have gotten better.

On "My Stats" my number of comments is constantly showing 1 less then the actuall number of comments I have, for the past two days.

It was working fine up until someones comment to me vanished (I assume they retracted it), it never subtracted it from the total number of comments. I thought maybe someone would like to know in case something else uses that number and might be one off too, then something else, etc.

Also on my photo page (the one being voted on, with the comments below), if I click the little "Check this box if you're interested in having your image critiqued..." I get the following error...

Invalid Image ID
Invalid Request. The administrators have been notified of this request.

and the check box doesn't check, I've tried it three times. :(

Hey guys, it's not the QUANTITY of comments -- it's the QUALITY...

*grin*

someone removed a comment from mine too, and I missed a new one until just now. It said 3 comments, and then one got removed around the same time I got a new one, so my comments stayed at 3. I totally missed my new comment. :(
Oh well, all better now.

Your helpful comments # on your profile includes the current challenge. Maybe I should adjust this...

Actually I didn't mean my helpful comments number. I meant the number in the:
My Stats
Submissions

* Picture Title
Votes: 75
Avg Vote: x.xxxx (wink)
Comments: 4 <----------------- should be 5
Updated: 01/15/03 02:51pm

on the main page. Thanks :)
