I have 5 3M overhead projectors sitting outside my office waiting for surplus. I'm pretty sure they all work except one. I've been told that I can have the broken one for spare parts if I wanted and that I could check out a working one indefinitely since nobody here uses them anymore.
I have a studio with a white paper background.
Has anybody else played with these in their studio before? Any use for the spare parts?... or am I going to regret lugging these home after work. |

I have played with projectors in the studio, but it hasn't been for some time. They've gotten brighter, but not by enough to make them really useful. Still a lot of fun stuff can be done |

They can be fun to project images for a background for studio work, or even onto your subject. |

You can use it like a light box, too, to sit small objects on it, lit up from below. |

Thanks guys! I'll definitely be lugging it home tomorrow. I'll prolly end up taking home one to dismantle. That concave glass is too cool to pass up and I hear there's a ?fresnel? lens somewhere in there too? |
