Hi all,

Hope everyone's doing well - I've always been more of a lurker on here than contributor and it's something I'm really trying to work on!

Anyway, I wanted to say that me and 4 other Stanford students and recent grads just launched our time lapse product, called Radian on kickstarter - a motion time-lapse device that is priced at $125.

Our fundamental goal was to make time-lapsing extremely affordable and accessible to people of all backgrounds while still being fully featured and capable of meeting a professional's needs. We spent months working on this, both in the lab and in the field with both beginners and professionals alike (like the people who made Yosemite HD) to bring our product to where it is today.

The five of us are doing this for zero profit, because we personally just want to get this product in the hands of people everywhere for the sake of empowering individuals to create beautiful vignettes of the world around us. We've poured months into this project, and we just really want to see it through. This was a labor of love.

I'd love your backing/support/sharing/liking/anything, and if you like our product, please pre-order one!

Hi Kris, do you have any footage using the Radian? Found them thanks. So the release date will be the 29th August providing you get the £178k backing? If this goes into production you say delivery in December?

Good job by the 5 of you and I hope it all works out well.

According to their timeline, if they get funded by that date they will order tooling, they project shipping in December.

Cheers, just read the page all the way to the bottom - was a little exited and in a rush ;)

Hi Andi,

Yup - assuming we get funding, we won't actually ship until winter, as we have to order the tooling and molds to mass manufacture our product. You may be delightfully surprised at some improvements we'll be making to the final version :)

Thanks for supporting us! We have some ambitious fundraising to do...
