The weirdest thing happened to me today. I bought a DVD at the store a couple days ago (interview with the vampire). I made some popcorn and was getting ready to watch it tonight. I ripped the celophane, removed the seals, and opend the case.....and it was empty! No DVD! As if that wasn't weird enough, I decided to watch Beauty and the Beast instead, so I went to the DVD rack, grabbed Beauty and the Beast, opened it....and DVD 1 was missing! I looked everywhere, I havent watched it in a long time, so I thought I had misplaced it, but knowing me, I doubt it. I live alone and I always put movies back in their case after watching it. I didn't find it anywhere. How weird is that?

And the trouble is if you take it back to the store they won't believe you!

Still, it's worth a try as it may have been a whole batch that didn't get the disk put in on the factory line and other customers may already have been back.

Bit of a twilight zone moment though!

Same here, from Best Buy. We got home, opened the package - empty! Store replaced it no problem.

I bought an answering machine from everyones fav store once that was empty. AT&T one. They exchanged it. It's such a weird feeling to only get the packaging for your money.
Good luck with your movie.
