This past week, a house down the street from us burned. Bad fire, the house is a total loss. Everyone got out relatively OK. The gentleman who lives there had to be rescued by a passerby. He went back in to get his dogs and became overcame by smoke. Sad to say, the dogs did not survive.
The real purpose of this thread is...I photographed some of the event, but found it interesting when it came to the Firemen. I had not done any candid shots of people working before. (Interesting challenge idea)

The expressions were great on the rescue personal faces. So I took my camera to work Saturday (6-23-2012). I usually am in the cranes, but wasn't this day. Photographing my Ironworker co-workers was just as neat. Shots were taken at the University of Nebraska football stadium.

Post candid photos of people at work.

We have done WORK challenges before, though not limited to candids, and environmental portrait challenges. I enjoy taking work/industrial images as well.

I suspect it would follow the same flow and process as event photography. Whether a concert, wedding, graduation, retirement, motorcyle rally, etc. The particulars are people engaged in an activity, thus the "rules" should be the same.
