My sister ( jadaigle88)bought her first DSLR and signed up for the site about 6 months ago. Found the camera at a salvage store for a great price. I have been trying to get her to enter a challenge since then. Well, she would never drop the $25 for the membership and could not find a challenge to enter that she liked and was a non member challenge.

I seen an image that she took over the weekend and told her that it was time and that she needed to enter the double take challenge with it. She did and now she is around a 5.5 with 2 comments and 1 favortite on her first attempt. Which I think is pretty good for a beginner.

I think DP might gain another paying member before this challenge is over.

WOW 5.5ish on a 1st challenge...Mine was a brown ribbon at like 3.5ish.....

That's great! my first entry was around 5.5ish as well.
can't wait to see which is hers!

Wow, it's been longer than 6 months that I got her to sign up here. I have not been effective at convincing her she could do it.

Shes definitly on her way to beating my first entry which was a 5.2. Followed by some very fantastic 4 scores.

Welcome, jadaigle88. Keep entering.

I got my daughter, Rabies, to join a couple of weeks ago. Her first entry was a 5.0 and her second a 6.0 (took me a lot longer to hit 6). Ger third is in voting. I am hoping she will keep going.

My first entry was a 3.8851, and it took me seven challenges and two months to break 5.5. Then it took me another five months to break it again. I still 5toss out a 4.xxx shot every nhow and then......
