Astronomy Picture of the Day on March 5, 2012 Incredible video from the International Space Station of it's flyby over earth at night.
An Aurora Borealis as you have never seen it before can be seen at 1:20 minute mark of the 2 1/2 minute video. |

wow.
its also amazing how lit up the earth is at night, i couldn't imagine seeing that in person.

Nice one.
I guess the Earth was so lit up around the 5 March because the moon was heading towards full. |
