The voters are morons
TROLLS!
DPC voters don't understand artisitc shots
Voters are too anal about the challenge description

Ya'll forgot one two three...

My regular camera is in the shop.

You mean I can shoot in larger than 640x480 mode for 640x480 submissions?

My focus is right on - I know because I do it manually. Now what's this Diopter thingie for?

The excuse that's always going around in my head is: "I really don't care about scores because I know dpc voters are ignorant and tasteless so I just enter the pics that I like, I know there're good".

My favorite
"It is supposed to look like that"
"I thought it gave it some different aspect"
"It not blurry supposed to convey motion"
"Jacko has all my bugs"
"Kiwiness has all the good models"
"It was raining"
"It was sunny"
"I took a better shot the day/week/year before the challenge started."

My GOOD camera was in the shop
Heida (or Jacko, or insert-fave-photog-here) entered this one
I have PMS
I'm suffering from photographer's block
The planets weren't in line
It was a full moon
It wasn't a full moon
I forgot my polarizer
I accidently left my polarizer on
The bird/frog/cat/dog/kid/flower/bug moved just as I snapped the shutter
The bird/frog/cat/dog/kid/flower/bug haters voted me down
I thought it was an advanced challenge
I thought it was an open challenge
It should have been an advanced challenge
It should have been an open challenge
