In taking the monthly shots of my sons, it is inevitable that one of them sticks out one of their legs. I take about a hundred shots, but of course, one of the shots with their legs out is the one I like best. While cropping the picture, should I center the entire composition? or center the bear and let the right boy's leg stick out to the side of the picture?
Centered Composition:

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

i don't think the leg should stick out the side of the picture. Some conventional "rules" (guidelines really) say that a centred composition is bad, but of the two crops you posted, I like the first one better..it seems more balanced to me given that its a pretty tight composition anyway.

definitely the top one, centered. The leg sticking out looks kinda weird :) hehe
