What would it be? And it can't be something personal like family/pets. Hmmm...
I think mine would be food. A really good picture of food can stir people hearts.. and stomachs. I like to eat.

Other than that, it would be the faces of happy children. |

Can't I pretend my dog isn't a pet? He doesn't do anything I say.
No? Okay then, macro/abstract.

A tree. I have hundreds of shots trees and they are never the same. They can be so strong and powerful, striking or soft, rich with colour or sparse. A totally dynamic subject. |

Definite macro shots of nature, especially of flowers. I use these shots for my drawings. |

You didn't say anything about the tools, so I will pretend that I am allowed to hit the button of the Hubble one time. It would be a photo of a nebula with a lot of colors or a supernova.

Churches, especially steeples that are well lit. Old churches, preferably. |

After reflecting a bit....
If I could only photograph one thing... it would be the last two combatants signing the last peace treaty that brought lasting peace to all mankind.
If I could but see and capture that, I'd happily go blind.
