Stuggling to really find an adequete Camera bag, everything seems to follow the same design. Wondering if anyone else outthere has some good tips for websites or places to look.
What I'm after is a bag which is more in the shape of a duffel bag, doesnt look obvious that its a camera bag and large enough to carry a Camera, about 3 lenses, (one of which is the long 70-200mm L series, others are shorter)a Flash and a few more accessories comfortably and safely. It doesnt nessecarly need to be specificaly set up for an SLR but as long as its got good padding and can be modified a little.

I have seen several good backpacks, with internal ICU's but its not really what I'm after.
I did like the look of //reviews.cnet.com/carrying-cases/kata-advanced-duffel-bag/1707-6510_7-31616669.html
but I can't find any trustworthy and active UK sellers.

thanks

Does it have to specifically be a duffel or would any shoulder type bag work? I can't say I've seen very many duffels in the many searches of camera bags I've gone on, but there are many decent options that are more shoulder bag type. There are the various Lowepro Stealth Reporter bags as well as the ThinkTank Urban Disguise bags. I know the Thinktank ones accommodate pro bodies with a 70-200 attached.
If you're okay with doing some of your own customizing and getting some dividers, I just saw these at my local outdoors store- Osprey Porter series. They make two sizes, 46L and 65L. Osprey makes great packs in general and has a great warranty. In person they honestly look more like a duffel, the straps pack into the back part there so the bottom is smooth, and that grey part on the bag that says "porter" is this padded material that gives it shape and protection. You can then attack a shoulder strap to the haul loops if you'd like to carry it that way.

Have you considered a duffle bag of your pick with one of the zillion of camera inserts meant for other camera bags??

I love the crumpler range (6 million or similar sounds where to start) but they not really duffel bags. They look less like camera bags then others I guess... although with a tripod strapped on and pulling big lenses out anything looks like a camera bag :-)

I use The One Bag, By UNDFIND. It is great for carrying lenses/ flashes and miscellaneous item's while shooting weddings or family portraits. Its made out of neoprene so is padded for the safety of your equipment. Another cool thing is that it comes with different covers that customize the look. Check it out, it may be what your looking for.

Many thanks for the replies, not quite what I was looking for but some of these are nice alternatives to consider and I will have a look in more detail.

You could buy a sturdy but inexpensive or generic looking bag, and travel with the camera bag that you use now inside it. It's a similar idea to camo clothing in the jungle.
