Think of something odd and ask Siri on the new iPhone 4S.

I asked Siri "where can I hide the body"....it directed me to the Hideaway Bar and Grill here in Traverse City. ROFLMAO

Heh! Wait till they find a body and ask Siri if anyone inquired about dumping one there. ;D

Apparently Siri's still in beta, and this might explain why its Canadian location-aware stuff doesn't work. It can't find the nearest Timmie's (there's one on every corner in any Canadian city), but it'll be happy to direct you to the nearest McDonald's in Detroit or New York, say, 500km away. :/

I just read a sci-fi story (from 1946!) about a mis-manufactured robot which reprograms the world computer database to bypass the censor circuits, so it will answer questions such as "what's the best way to murder my wife" and "how can I get a lot of money fast" with completely literal, totally practical, and patently illegal answers ... :-)

Can see it now. The plea "I was drunk and Siri told me to do it." ;-)

...well I now know the first two things I'm going to ask Siri!

Just for clarification, in this particular story unlimited worldwide access to the uncensored accumulated and correlated body of human knowledge didn't work out so well ...

Is Siri iPhone 4S specific or is it part of iOS5? Will it work on my iPhone 4 when I upgrade?

***Nevermind*** I found the answer. I won't be using Siri anytime soon.

Ok, so I asked Siri to find me an asshole as I had just encountered one here at the hospital. The reply was "this hospital appears to be very close to you" with a map to where I am at. LOL

I know you got the answer but still "No" it does not support iPhone 4 :)

So far, Siri isn't impressed by me. Just like the DNMC nazis here at DPC, Siri does not find my "fuzzy language" fuzzy enough. LOL!!!!

why is that? does the 4gs require and special hardware in order for it to work? my guess is they kept it out of iOS5 to get people to upgrade to the new phone.

apple is a great marketing, in fact a fantastic marketing company. they can only keep playing the magical hype for so long.

You must listen to Peter Sagal's "conversation" with Siri on this week's Wait Wait Don't Tell Me! program ... near the end of the first segment.

Very funny! I love it. Siri really does learn about you as a person from your requests. I asked it "where can I find an asshole" and it told me "it appears there is a hospital close to your location" This while I was at work at the hospital with a very annoying person. The next time I asked it the same question to show a coworker the answer I got, the reply changed to "Linda, you need to watch your language". lol

Can you ask it when the world will end?

It's really funny when you put 2 of them together and let them talk to each other... They start fighting with each other and call each other names

Asking it 'What is the meaning of life' gives some wonderful responses!

Can someone set up a Web-X conference and let several of them have at it at once?
