Personally, I think this is an awesomely cool departure from normal...

Basically it's "something that looks like something else."

Just don't make it specifically for the challenge.

I expect bvy to trump the usual folks at the top. No pressure Brian.

No pressure at all, but if he misses this one, I'll send Thag and Kron to have a little talk with him. No pressure, though.

I like it a lot.

I love the idea. It won't be easy. We should have the camera with us all this week and be ready to discover something. I will try!

interesting challenge.

maybe i'll just point my camera at the sky and set the timer remote to continuously shoot and hope the clouds form some kind of shape. i'm hoping for a giraffe, or maybe a camel.

This almost looks like another Personification challenge but without the setup shots.

Sorta, kinda, not really. I think for this challenge, it does not have to look like a person or animal, just seeing a picture in something suits.

Yes.

"If you can see something that's not really there then it's a paraidlia" - Go by that rule and I'm guessing you should be fine. So as Yo_Spiff just said, yes it is... unless Shrek and his friend were really having a swim at that moment =).

I cut the top off a green pepper this evening, revealing a very passable face - but that was before I'd logged on to dpc. <"ยค">

Shrek is cute but not his other friends, lol.

Would something like this silly face count? It wasn't really a set-up, simply rotated to the upside down position......
09/28/2011 11:24:20 AM · #24
i get the concept, but this is going to be tough.
