This is one from my portfolio. Will work on processing more over the weekend. Hope you don't mind a bug (here and there) on the flowers as well.

Would love to hear comments and feedback too please. It will help me become a better photographer.

Looking forward to this SC. Flowers make everyone feel so much happier.

There are hardly any flowers growing with our inordinate heat. Would it be a cheat if I used some older photos and just played around with them?

Sure you can Judy, a few have too because of the seasonal changes, thankfully my garden is pretty much full of flowers at present.

Same problem here. Between the extreme heat of June & July, then record breaking rain for August, I'm kind of flowerless (except for a few really hardy specimens). So I'll alternate between what is actually out & what I've gotten but not worked on.

In spring, when the flowers are at their best, I concentrate on shooting. When it gets hot & muggy (like now) I stay indoors, editing. Like some others, I will be concentrating on editing images taken earlier this year. I adore flowers & flower photography, so I am looking forward to this thread. I'm going to try very hard to keep up with my commenting, too!

I took this a few days ago, I wanted to use it for august free study. I ended up choosing something else, so I am excited to show it off here instead.

Sorry for a horribly over-processed photo. I really had to get rid of a horrible background.

Still a little carried away with the August layer side challenge, so I had to combine it with this month's :)

I am actually going to get one in on day-1, although it is a recent one from my portfolio. Hopefully, I can get out and get a few shots this coming week. Beautiful images so far.
