Oh boy, today was like christmas. Well sort of, I have to pay the bill but it was sooo much fun opening all the boxes. I got my strobes!!!! I dropped some bills on a Profoto 2400WS Pack with two heads and a case, some manfroto stands and a chimera soft box (size M). They profoto's are amazing! I cant wait to get my third head for only $100, they are running a special deal right now when you buy an Acute 2 pack you can get a head for just $100 instead of $695. I am in love :) Will be posting some shots soon, I just have to get someone to model for me :)

Oh and I forgot. I am taking classes at ICP in NYC and cannot say enough good things. I just finished a lighting class and tomorrow is the last day of photographing people. Next week is the intimate portrait 2. I hope I am getting better :) Check out my stuff under ICP classes if you would like. Thanks!

My shipment from B&H arrives on Monday :) Not lighting, for me it's lenses :) Canon 17-40 f/4L and the Canon f/50mm 2.5 Macro....

| An L lens, you are lucky indeed! I would love to have some more money to spend on lenses. I think my next purchase will be a sub $20 camera. Any guesses? |

Yeah my first L lens! :) that's why I am extremely anxious. I am waiting for the phone call from customs to pay the GST... any minute now.

Customs didn't call me, they sent a letter instead. They said that I needed to provide a receipt & proof of purchase. I also had to provide the ebay item number.

It's actually UPS that will call. UPS lodges all the paperwork with customs and collects the GST.
