Just a quick note to thank you all for the nice and interesting comments and votes. My "That's Close Enough" picture was fairly difficult for me as she would not pose. I had been perched on a ladder long enough that I really wanted to reach out and turn her just a little. When I did take a shot I would get her out of focus or she had the wrong end pointing at the lens. I got one of her with her stinger ready for action, and then I took a little break so she might settle down. I am real pleased with placing 14th, as I knew it was on the edge for a true "Fear" shot.
Oh by the way. No she isn't plastic, nor is she upside down, this is the way they hang. I wanted to enter her the other way around because she is a lot more intimidating.

If I may I'll piggyback on this thread. Thank you all for the concern for the computer keys. They were never in danger as the wax overflow happend elsewhere some time ago. The long absence of electricity and being out of touch with you guys was the implied fear. I also fear absentmindedness but wax and computers normally do not mix. (like I would use a candle to read the screen in a blackout? :P ) I was haveing a real blackout when I made that shot. lol

I have learned my lesson. Untill I have a camera with a spot meter I will not shoot at an open flame. (Untill I have a new camera I will not be shooting anything -:< ) Hay! that means I don't have to vote on all the entrys this week. aelith
