interesting challenges, everyone should live near an abandoned something for a subject.
Serious total entry drop off over the years, 492 entires in #1, 250 in #2 wonder how many #3 will get entered.
I came here after the glory days of 500 entries, wonder if they shall ever return?

Ok, I get it finally, abandon buildings... lol, I did not see that for way too long!

I'll need a tripod, and possibly more than a week, but I am grateful for the prod.

With the price of real estate what it is around here, there aren't any abandoned buildings! Bummer...

Then think "Urban Exploration" challenge... Maybe it's not a building, perhaps it's an old rail station, or some city infrastructure, an old mine, just find something crusty and old as hell, people won't really know the difference, and it's mostly, kinda, in the spirit of the thing... :)

And, fwiw, there seem to be abandoned buildings everywhere, it's just a matter of looking... Or at least within a 50 mile radius of anywhere... ;)

ETA: Bonus points for light painting the inside of your local sewer system... :-P

If only I had access to some of these post apocalyptic abandoned skyscrapers, then I could have gotten a good picture for the challenge.
