Oooh, My 3rd (4th if you count the senses challenge as 2) challenge suggestion in a row.

Inspired from my rather crap efforts in the pattern challenge
I played with lego for a few days but couldn't get the right shot.

It turns out this has been suggested before...twice...so I am happy that it has finally made it to be a challenge.

Good luck everyone!

Sure, I can:
Lego: Take a picture that uses these colorful little bricks as the main subject.

eta: It's up to the voters.

If they are also geeky, the Lego MindStorms kit includes motors, sensors, and a programmable control block, to let you build machines and robots and such ... :-)

People who live close to a LegoLand park may have an advantage in this challenge ...

I live 5 miles from Legoland, Windsor, UK...I will not be entering as there is no way I will pay £34.50 admission. That is criminal and they should be banned from the UK!!

Maybe they might have an outside display that you could take a picture at an interesting angle and use different WB for interesting light effects? Don't know, never been to the place.

I have and it was a complete rip off. It cost us well over 100GBP and spent most of the day queueing for rides and food and so on, we then went to Godstone Farm a few weeks later, spent just 12GBP (I dont have a pound sign on my PC) and the kids had a ball, Highly recommended!
Anyway, Lego....

Last year they had life size lego animals at the Philadelphia zoo. It took 95,000 legos to make this.

I live about an hour away from a Legoland, and a half hour away from a very large Lego Store. Unfortunately, I am on vacation and wont be home until Wednesday. I dont think that I will have enough time to shoot... But maybe... well see! Sounds like a very fun challenge though!

The description says "bricks." What about the figures? Would they be a DNMC because they are not bricks?

They may not be brick shaped, but they are still stackable like actual bricks. They have the "bricks" built into their feet. And they are Legos.

You better bring a dozen 2x4s, power tools, costumes, string and duct tape.
