I see lots of laughing all the way to the bank LOL

Ok, I just wonder how many photos will look like stock photography.

I am pretty sure ATMs don't count as banks(?), since subject is not "Banking" but only "Bank"

For once, I wish it was still winter and we had some nice snow banks available.

Sounds like there would be security issues involved with photographing a bank :/

i was (until fairly recently) a teller at wells fargo for over 5 years, and i took LOTS of photos of our bank (it was in a converted historical building). as long as you arent photographing sensitive material or focusing too much on the security systems (and you run it past the staff first!) there shouldnt be any problems at all, as long as you arent holding up business etc.

If the atm is on the inside or the outside of a bank, why not?

Actually, many people use the atm strictly as their bank -- depositing money into it and taking money out. So I think it would qualify.

Now that would be a great challenge title.

What? "PS"?
04/28/2011 04:02:17 PM · #17
PS = "Post Script" -- literally "after the writing" ... something added as an afterthought to the main body of a commuication.

taking the possibility of dry sarcasm from paul into account...i'll posit that i believe leo was asking if rj meant PS was a great challenge suggestion

That would be interesting ... ;-)

Fortunately, Adobe seems to have been unable to secure "PS" as an additional trademark for their PostScript® (no space) page-description language ...

Ummm... everyone know that PS is my pastor back in Minnesota. That was Pastor Stadler's nickname. :)

I am terrified of challenges like this. : (
I feel like scores drop on ambiguous challenges as everyone's interpretations clash in a firestorm of "screwoff" votes. LOL.
I loved the description from the site council though. "N/A"

I take that to mean "North American" and will DNMC any foreign banks.

Sheesh, what I meant was "Things are not always what they appear" would be a good challenge. Taking pictures of things close up which have a pattern that causes you to think the larger object is something other than what it is. Not sure what I would do with that topic, just seemed fun and well challenging.

That's similar to a couple of "puzzle macro" and "guess what this strange thing is" challenges we've had before (like two months ago -- I had to look it up myself!) ...
