Just ran across this and thought others might find it of interest as well. According to their narrative of the teardown, the D5100 has approximately 4 billion screws holding it together.

They also have a Nikon D70 repair guide, which might be very useful. I could have used something like this a couple of years ago when I accidentally killed my Rebel XT.

wow, didn't know a camera needs that much of screws. Good guide BTW, have forwarded to some of my friends as well.
