I got photoshop elements yesterday and today I found the Adobe gamma in the control panel. Whoa!! There is difference. Not a huge one but one big enough to be significant.

The gamma control is in my filters in "Touchup" then "Touchup filters" in PhotoSuite 4. I use it all the time and it will really make a difference in your final photo. Especially if you start with a fairly dark shot. I increase it by just one increment usually. Also if you start with some really bad washed out white try minusing it an increment at a time. It sure helps when "Brightness and Contrast" won't do it.
