I recently acquired the Olympus ZD 50mm macro f2.0 and here is my first attempt at a portrait shot with it. Shot in RAW with hardly any editing. Converted to Jpeg, slight amount of curves and slight amount of unsharp mask. Shot wide open at f2.0 1/640s ISO100 with the Olympus E1.
Very happy with the clarity and detail this lens provides. Comments welcome.

Ahhh very nice.
I recall Mike Johnson rating this lens as the greatest 50mm prime made, (when including bokeh as a property).

;) The joy of a system where the lenses and sensor match in harmony, shooting wide open without any worries. |
