Hi guys, does anyone use a portable back up? I want something that I can just put the CF card in to and have it copy it. I wouldn't mind being able to view the shots on it, but its not essential.

I use an inexpensive netbook when traveling. 160 Gb hard drive, relatively large screen, and is also a full fledged computer. Does not automatically copy files, but that's a simple drag & drop operation.

I use an old hyperdrive HD80... Just a laptop disk with a bit of stuff wrapped around - so it copies cards you put in it (stupid enough that it will copy the same one again if you ask it to)... runs off 4 AA batteries and plug it in to charge them. Has a USB plug for downloading to a computer.

Not sure you can buy them now but hit google as I am sure the company has something similar.

Edit: This is the one I have.
