Please, May I Have Your Opinion?

Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS

I am trying to learn. In that effort, I took my submission for the 3's challenge and applied all the counsel I got in comments and re-edited the photo. I can't change the original in-camera capture, but please, can you tell me if you think the revised version is better or not, and why?

I think I like the originally submitted one better. I like the brighter background of the other, but the composition is much more interesting to me in the first. I like a longer line of motion and prefer some of them fallen. In the revised one, I see too much "bulkiness" or shadowing in the motion blur.

I like the original as well, but maybe the revised if you had left a little of the fallen dominos. I think the fallen ones have to be represented too because otherwise the theme of "The Domino Effect" is really well portrayed.

I like the revised alot better. It is more simple and straight to the point.

Nice action shot. I prefer the revised version for the same reason as oskar. I would also suggest flipping the photo horizontally, since most people are conditioned to "read" from left to right.

I like the revised version. There is enough information to know what is happening. The fallen dominos in the first photo don't have a lot of definition so I think they detract from the picture. Did you try desaturating it? I feel it would be more attractive without the blue.

I definately prefer the flipped, revised version. IMO the lead-in on this image is less distracting and draws the eye into the image more smoothly than the original. Also, the image feels more natural showing motion to static rather than the original's static - motion - static feel. I also agree with Scalvert that we are typically conditioned to view left to right more naturally that right to left.
Overall a great image - I liked it in the challenge and I like it now :)
