Canon EF 24-105mm f/4.0L IS

New member to DPchallange, been lurking around for a little bit though ,lol. Just took a step up from a point and shoot to a dslr, received my Nikon D3100 today and am extremely excited. Can't wait to start shooting and looking forward to reading all the great posts on here and learning a new hobby!

What do you like shooting? Where in PA are you? There are lots of PA folks here so you may have a good chance of meeting some in person.

Welcome to the phunny pharm. Step over the empties on the floor and pull up a cardboard box to sit on. Jump on in the shark tank (easy to find, it's called "Challenges open for submission"), the water's fine .

Mostly they're in Eastern Pa. Here in the wild west, we associate more readily with West Virginians than we do Philadelphians.

Welcome John. I'm in SE PA. I too like to take my gun or bow for a walk in the woods. But I never go out without a camera as well. Have fun here.

Welcome John. The natives here tend to be restless and will shoot first, ask questions later. So just jump in and worry about the details later. Just make sure the date on your camera is set correctly...

Have a good time on the site, shot often, and enjoy sharing info and photos with all of us. The side challenges are a good way to meet and greet, as well as to share photos and get feedback about them.
