Well, we are in december. The economic crisis is still there, affecting many of us but this is a very generous community, sometimes it's not a question of money : to receive a nice postcard may put a smile on a face and warmth in the heart.

You all know how this works...
List your wishes, I'm sure that some will be fulfilled or granted.
Let's try to make some people happy !

P.D. If someone is interested in some home made earrings, please send me a message.

No wishes ! I can't believe it !

Ok, it's surely my fault, I'm not good explaining things. So please feel free to reformulate this thread.

My wish list :
* To receive small prints/photos from DPCers. Thank you colorcarnival !!! Thank you bergiekat !!!

* To be able to fulfill someone else's wish.

Last Years thread for reference.

My wishlist items are too expensive or illegal, but I'll put a watch on this thread in case I got something someone else wants.

Wishlist, hmm.....
1. One or two more of the dead guy's coloured gloves.
2. Time to go through the workload to establish my photo's in the prints area.. Not that they are so immenently printable, but just to be able to do it.
3. A Canon software upgrade to make my 400D take pictures at 1600ISO like a D7.
4. A GTG (or even just a visit) from another DPC'er.

My wife's list probably looks like this:
1. DPC's site to crash daily and be out of service 36hours per day.
2. I should develop an allergic rash to any type of plastic/metal used in camera bodies.
3. The government to pass a law making stopping every 5 km's for the taking of pictures punishable with death by strangulation.

As we never get snow here, I'm not expecting the bearded sleigh-man any time soon either.

I need nothing for myself....but I have the following lenses which are Free (one item per receipient) - Sorry, U.K. only because of postage costs

Canon EF 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 V USM - Old but in good condition Gone ! :-)

Canon EF 75-300mm f4-5.6 II (non usm) - Not the best but if the light is decent it is not a bad lens Gone!

Canon EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 (Kit lens) - Much maligned but I have taken a few decent photos with this.

PM me - Each lens on a first come first wins basis :-)

This sounds great, but I really just would like the books. I work 10 hour days, most of which is that I have to remain there but have no real work to do. I spend much of my time reading. Do you gave a good book that you are finished with that you would not mind sharing with me? I would be so happy to receive them.

I can see what I have -- my best books I read over and over again, but I must still have a good one I can share -- PM me with your address, and I'll see what I can find.

- A 77mm CP.
- A 77mm lenscap to fit the canon 28-135 (lost mine).
- extention tubes (and instructions on how to use them).
- Prints or bookmarks made from your favorite pictures.
- Scented jar candles (even used ones), I just love to burn candles all winter. I only use the jars now though with a little one running & climbing around.
- Any used/unwanted xbox 360 games for my son.
- Got any warm pj's your daughter has outgrown? We've got a growing fast baby that could use some warm 12-18 months size pj's.
- and on my real wish list a macro lens or wide angle lens.

I'll be watching to see what I can do for folks posting.

I would love some easy to read photography books (lol lite reading is my speed) or the Kelby books. Or Christmas ornaments - I love them and can never have enough.

I'm watching the list also to see if I can help somewhere.

What genre do you most prefer? PM me with your snail mail addy, and when I get finished with what I read, I'll send it to you. FWIW, I prowl yard sales and usually am able to grab paperbacks for $0.25 each or less. I'm two thirds of the way through Richard Adams' (Watership Down) Shardik, and I'd be happy to send it along.... I read mostly what I call pulp fiction....adventure, mystery, with some chick lit thrown in here and there.

I love serial killer novels and love stories......go figure!

bookmooch.com is also an amazing place for trading read or unwanted books - i havent paid for anything for a book in years! (except DESPERATLY popular stuff, sometimes if you want to read it asap it requires a purchase.)

If someone explains me how to do bookmarks with photos I'd love to exchange them.

Anyone interested in a (pure) silk necklace with a small pendant ? Tell me the color you prefer and I gladly would tint the silk.
