After the "One Street" Idea, I started to think more about "How to encourage myself to take more photos" and came up with another idea based on my other idea LOL

Most of us have our own system to separate our work (creating folders under our portfolios) such as challenge section, human, animals, black white etc.

Now let's create another section called "My Book 2010" and under that create four folders (Any categories you want such as BW, Macro, Floral, Portrait). Your assignment is to add as much as pictures you want there until January 1st, but on January, delete or move some of them, leave only 10 photo each folder (your best ones the way you think)

Once you complete your task for all categories (Sometime in January 2011), post its link (not the photos) here and explain your style per category :) (Sample)

Since there is no daily posting involved with this, "watch" this thread, I also will bump it from time to time to remind you.

Like this idea.....but would suggest it would work brilliantly as a yearly thing.......i.e. starting 1 Jan 2011, and completing it throughout the year.
I started the PAW, but due to committments, couldn't keep it up. But with this I could include multiple photos in one week, and miss a few when work is too busy

This is somewhat similar in concept to the SoFoBoMo (Solo Photography Book in a Month) project, most recently discussed here.

Idea here is to take as much as photos and dump them into one place until January. Of course within their categories. Then, sit and select 10 photos of each category you think could make a book. Sine there is about a month time, it should encourage us to take photos, lots of photos during that time.

A year would be too much and probably idea would be forgotten... I am hoping a few people would go for this idea since it's limited to a month.

I started to shoot today (walking and driving around with my camera). make sure to keep your image file sizes smaller to not to fill your DPC HD space ;)

At the end, you always could make those images actual book (PDF format) someplace and show it to your friends :)
