My neighbor offered to sell his SB-800 Nikon Speedlight for $250. It's in good working condition. Is this a good deal?

It's on the lower end of the average listing price on eBay.

Considering that it's a popular discontinued model, if you've wanted one, this is a good deal.

If its in good working condition, id say get it! I own one and have loved it since i got it. In great shape they usually sell for a bit more, so sounds like a good deal to me.

I would say that's a decent deal, especially if it comes with the accessories. On Craigslist in my area, most postings are from $300 to $370...
