change message board names. Such as if someone had a question/problem, they would put [ANSWERED] or [SOLVED] as part fo the title for people who had the same question/problem.

Also, you could fix spelling errors if it's 1 A.M and you need and answer, but you made a major spelling mistake.

etc.

There is no such a thing in DPC. None of the threads here end with original title related conversation :-\

That's funny... I was able to resist entirely, and was quite proud of myself really.

I admire your strength of of will. Jack makes himself an easy target sometimes.

:(

Can't somebody leave a snarky response so I can see where I went wrong? Seems logical to be able to edit forum titles, it's a very common feature in forums EVERYWHERE but here on the net...

I appreciate this sites urge to be unique, but that doesn't have to mean leaving out basic functionality. Am I wrong?

Ok, snarkyness aside, I'll try to be helpful.

It's absolutely logical, and probably wouldn't even be hard to implement. The issue is there's a backlog of about 500 great ideas that Langdon doesn't have the time to implement. So while suggestions like this are actually really cool, and do rarely result in a change being made, they're mostly just a bit of a bad joke...

And... About 80% of the snarkyness in my desired response had strongly to do with this phrase -

Which lead the smartass in me to want to respond with something like "Well, the good news is you can fix spelling errors in the body of your post" .. And perhaps carrying on beyond there to even greater heights of useless snarkyness..

*shrug*

Hope that helps.

Did you think of politely asking that the thread title be changed?

There, snarky enough? ;-)
