****If there is any problem with me asking this here, please let me know and I will delete my message. ****

I have seen so many beautiful photographs here....and I have currently been searching for a new picture to sketch. The last picture I drew was from a photo my father in law took of three mules:
//www.sketchesbybethany.net/mulespicture.jpg

and this was my sketch from the photo:

//www.sketchesbybethany.net/mules12.jpg

Would anyone possibly be interested in helping me find a new picture for my next sketch? I am just looking for something -nearly anything- as long as it is beautiful and creative, sharp, bright and clear.

Whichever picture I decide on would be drawn and then posted on my website once finished. (It could take me up to 4 months (maybe even more than that) to complete my sketch. ) I may even decide eventually to have prints made of the sketch, and if I did, I would be more than happy to give either the original or several prints to the donor of the photograph.

I dont know if this is a crazy idea or not, but I just thought it would be amazing to draw a picture from a picture from photographers as talented as you all are. :)

You can't put in a thumb unless you photo is hosted on the DPC website
(edit: But then you took out the question and the thumb tries hehe)

Your work is amazing, I'm sure every photographer would be hounored if you would sketch after his/her photo.

Hey Bethany Marie, you may be interested in one of my favorite photographers on this site, Tim Jensen (Timj351) who sometimes incorporates his sketches into his photographs. Here are some examples:

Thats some mighty fine sketching. I'm lucky if I can draw a recognisable stick man. I hope you show some more of your sketches on here.

Thank you for the link to Tim's profile! He does have some awesome sketches...and the photographs of his sketches are even better! :) Thank you all for your VERY kind compliments on my sketch. And thank you to all who PM'd me offering your portfolios to browse...I am going to take a long time and look at each picture to see if I see what I am looking for. I don't know exactly what it is I am looking for, but I have a feeling when I see it, i will know! :)

Hello Bethany,
Would you be interested in doing an American bald eagle? Here is my image of one I took while on an eagle watch this January. I really like your work and think you could do a bang up job on this eagle. Let me know if you are interested.

Or you could do this golden eagle. He is quite handsome as well.

I have other eagles on my Pbase website too. Please feel free to browse and let me know if you are interested in any of the images. Your work is wonderful.
Thanks, Ann

Bethany,

The best thing is start a portfolio at DeviantArt where you artwork would really be appreciated by others that do the same type of works. Also catagories for photo, painting, poetry etc.

Some of the members/users here also post there. Check it out.

Actually most of my pictures will work as sketches :)

Konodor's sheep looks really cool.

I think any of the photographers would be honored to have you sketch thier photos. Spot one you like then send them a message with the explanation you just gave.
I'd be thrilled...somewhat limited portfolio though..I'm a newbie like you.
