I'm very confused...I'm sorry.

The Montreal get-together is on JUNE 26th, NOT July as mentioned in a previous thread. (Admin: Sorry about the duplicate threads)

We can meet at 1:00 at the intersection of De la Commune and Place Jacques Cartier. I'll be the one with the camera. :0

We can take a few shots and have a few beers. It'll be fun.

Hope to see you all there.

Uh, Mario this is tourist season in Montreal, everyone in that area will most likely have a camera LOL. Uh how about wearing a loud Hawaiian shirt? Uh that won't work either LOL Ok ok just checked your photo. I'll be there if I'm not in Ottawa, I'll bring my big white lens...not too many of those around yet.

Uh is de la commune the one closer to the port or the one closer to city hall?

We had those for fossilrim - great work by Crabappl3

I really liked Montreal - Notre Dame is worth a visit, as is the Botanical Gardens.

Some shots from Montreal

Great photos Gordon. BTW, the Montreal Olympic Games were in 1976. Not '72. I really like that photo though. Very cool composition. It looks almost like a made up composite post-card, except it's real. Very cool indeed.

Fixed it - ta :) I was 4 then... Had to contort a little bit to get the elements where they ended up and time it with the setting sun a bit.
Montreal was a great place to visit.

I'll be there if I don't go camping. Though 1:00 is quite early for me, as I usually wake up at that time on weekends, I'll make a conscious effort to get up earlier.

Final bump....I'm off to work for a few hours.

I'll see you at 1:00 pm. And at 3:00 for those who can't make earlier.

Note: There is an event going on at Place Royale (in Old Mtl). It's called Rendez-vous des Cultures. Many different cultures being shown off from 11:00 until 8:00 and again tomorrow. Flamenco dancers, steel drum players, cooking classes, etc. Should offer up a few photo opps for those who are interrested.

Have a great day and hope to see you there.

Crap! I only made it to the Old Port for 3:30 because of my slow friends. Too bad it started raining at 3:45.

How was it?

I waited until 3:30. No one showed up! I had a great time, regardless. I was there from about noon, since I had that event we were sponsoring. Took about 100 or so photos. I'll post some later.
