| I just received an e-mail from Crestock announcing the acquisition by Masterfile. The letter acknowledged and explained some of the problems Crestock has been having, including being understaffed. They promise to clear up the submission backlog in a few weeks. They also promise more promotion and advertising. This is all good news, as Crestock was in rather sorry shape. |

Crestock is a micro site.
Masterfile (I believe) is a macro site.

| Guess I should clarify...is Masterfile micro or macro? BTW I do have some images with Fotolia, when I still had a p&s, but got very discouraged with piddly sales there, so set my sights higher and got in with Alamy. |

Boy you are fast. Though about it after answering the first time and then looked up Masterfile and edit the post.
So it looks like to me that Masterfile is a macro site. They sale RM license.

I started with Alamy. I'm now with iStock, Shutterstock, Dreamstime, Fotolia, and a dozen others. Alamy still outsells them all combined by a ratio of four to one. |
