Hi All,

I am shooting a very special event on Thursday 17th June in Burnley and I need some help. Basically I am trying to find someone that would either a) give up their evening to join me in shooting this event or b) could loan me a backup canon body for the evening?

The event is being held by a very brave young lady who is terminally ill, all proceeds will be going to a brain tumour charity here in the UK and all images taken by me (or us if someone else can come) and my time will be provided free of charge so I can't afford to pay anyone to join me or to hire another body - if anyone can help I would be very, very grateful.

It's a charity dinner with 2 celebrity speakers, an auction and a few other bits and pieces throughout the night. It is being organised by a lady in her early 20's who has gone from being diagnosed with a "benign" grade 2 brain tumour to a malignant grade 4 (terminal) brain tumour in just a year and her friends to raise funds for brain tumour charities.

Myself and anyone else I can either rope in to help me or lend me another body are the 'official' photographers (so expect photographs to hit the local press).

Burnley is about an hour and a half away from me, but to get there on time I would probably have to take a half days leave. If you are still needing someone on Tuesday I'll see if I can get the time off, but at the moment it is doubtful. Hopefully someone else will be able to step in - I've just had a look at the event on the web, and the two celebrity guests would be good to listen to - and definitely cool to photograph!

I am 1hour 20mins away - if I could check timings of event it should be possible for me to get there. I would definitely like to hear and shoot those two guys if I googled the right event. Good cause.
