I'm interested in experimenting with some image transfers and emulsion transfers. Does anyone have any experience with these?
These are done using polaroid film so my question is ... is there any way to get from a digital image to a polaroid film image? There are slide printers to create film shots from slides or film negatives. There are film recorders to create negatives/slides from digital files. This seems like a VERY expensive and complicated route though - so much so that I guess I'll just have to use a polaroid camera and forget about ever using any of my digital pics.
Am I missing an easier way?

I forget the model, but Polaroid makes a camera which hasa printer unit built into it -- prints to (I think) Polaroid 600 "film." I thought about getting one just to use as a "printer."
