How about a Selective Desaturation III it's been almost 3 years since the last one???

No offense, but even though I've only voted in something like six challenges so far, I've already seen more than my fill of selective desaturation, what with "balloons", "zen", and "out of the ordinary". I don't think I could face a whole challenge of it. Now if it was "One bright spot of colour -- no selective desaturation", that might be something. ;-)

I think this would be a good idea. It would get people trying something they may not normally do.

The downside though is that photos could have contrived selective desat (selective desat for the sake of selective desat) rather than the using the technique on a photo that benefits from it. We get enough of that now. An entire challenge would just invite it.
