I always find that the photos which I believe to be few of my best shots are the ones which never gets a critique club comment. They are the photos for which I eagerly wait for the challenge to finish and awaits critique club gems, but often the ones ignored by critique club.

If in case, anyone would want to throw some gems at it, I would be the happiest person around:

from Stopped Motion V ended on Mar 30, 2010

from All Things Being Equal: Three ended on Apr 11, 2010

I think I need to apologize for my Grog comment. I did not realize this may have been an entry from someone in India, which probably makes my comment offensive. I also thought they were a variety of buffalo, not cows.

I did give that one a 7, however. It's not perfect by far, but I liked what you did capture. Wildlife photography is NOT one of my own strong areas. There is a bit of visible graininess to it. Since you were using the kit lens at iso 800, it is almost certainly a heavy crop, and that accounts for much of the appearance.

Critique Club comments are not guaranteed. I don't think I got any (or very few) in my first year or two despite clicking that button every time, so I just stopped asking. A detailed review is always nice, but when you get as many regular challenge comments as these two entries, you should have a pretty good idea of the viewers' opinions.

Yeah, the critique club images are randomly assigned, the people critiquing don't get to pick which one they want. And there's always a huge backlog....

Maybe people will see the thread and sign up? I know I need to start doing critiques again!

Steve, your comment was taken only in the right spirit. :)
