I noticed there are a few members on the Free Agent list that have not completed 10 challenges.
I am thinking of starting a team called the Underchallenged when the slot opens for new teams on monday.
Are any of the under challenged free agents interested?.

Ron

So far we have these confirmed members. There is one unanswered invite still awaiting acceptance.

I kind of suck but I would like to give this a try. If you get desperate enough I'm free

Looking good to me. We have to wait till monday for teams to be formed but anyone with less than ten challenges under their belt is welcome! thanks for the interest. If you are still interested on monday, I will send an invite. Register as a free agent here.

So if you have less then 10 challenges entered, you join the "Under challenged team"?
I'm in! (if you'll have me, I swear I don't suck quite as much as my profile currently indicates. I am getting a 5.9 in orange :-P)

You can join any team that will have you! I will be forming the team "The underchallenged" on monday when allowed and will send invites to join (Subject to team size limitations) to anyone who's shown an interest here. Its mainly to kick my butt and get me out there entering challenges. When you are doing it for the team it gives you more incentive.

Cheers

Ron, we did something similar for DPL 1. I formed a team that was composed entirely of people who had never entered a challenge. We were the lowest seeded team with a seed average of 0.0000. Hence our name, Team Zero (actually, Zero Division)!

It was a lot of fun and we had nowhere to go but up.

Monster-zero or Flora any ideas for a Team logo. 120pix X 120pix.

Anyone else with less than ten challenge entries interested in joining?

There are currently 17 free agents with under 10 challenge entries. We have four so far out of the 17. Anyone else on the list want to join? we need a minimum of 7.

Those that have shown an interest so far.

I have done about 15 challenges, but have none under my belt since October 2007 if that qualifies me. Been too busy with work over the last 2 to 3 years, but now have the opportunity to get back into it.

I am looking for a team to join for DPL

Never done something like this before, but it sounds fun. Photorgaphy is a new hobby of mine and I can't wait to learn from everyone. Let's get started!!!

Hey all,

I am looking forward the season. Have been out of photography for a bit now but have been getting back into it. This will force me to enter challenges.

Just want to pop in here and congratulate ' . substr('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', strrpos('//www.dpchallenge.com/images/user_icon/21.gif', '/') + 1) . ' Rocket on his team leadership. This is really a great thing to see! Since you are all new to the DPL system, I'd like to offer a few tips at this point. First of all, you have six more days before signup ends. Mathematically, it will be helpful to your team if you fill out all ten available slots. It's a very important thing that you have finalized your team at this point, in case the total number of teams does not reach the next multiple of 24. (i.e., 48)

As far as I know, the top four scores from each round (one Member challenge and two Open challenges each week) are used to compute that round's team score. If one person has more than one of the top four scores, then only one top score from that person can be used. Therefore, it's an advantage to have a full team to maximize entries.

If DPL2 works like DPL1, then there may be three divisions... A, B, C... which will be determined by percentile average score "seeding". For example, if there are a total of 24 teams, each division would have eight (8) teams. If there are eventually 48 teams, each division may have 16 teams. So, you can win your seeded division! Best wishes and good luck with your significant effort! I'm impressed. Rocket, feel free to ask questions any time. You know how to reach me!

Thanks Hahn23,
Your advice is appreciated.

The problem we have is the restriction we put on ourselves limiting team members to those that have entered less than 10 challenges. Any more volunteers out there ?

Thanks again

Honestly, I can't think of an idea for a team logo. Maybe I'm thinking too hard. But I'm cool with what we have already, so I'll leave this big decision up to someone else.

10 is the Max number of members in a team and we currently have 9. Last chance.
