The previous challenge asked us to photograph anything relating to the number 3. The current challenge description reads:
"Create a photo in which three subjects are present, each having equal visual importance equivalent to the others."

It will be interesting to see the differences.

Definitely. Been scratching my head to come up with some ideas... don't have an awesome landscape handy to figure out a picture based on the "three elements" rule :-)

This one is definitely more open to interpretation.

"I'm sorry, but I don't think the asparagus is as visually important as the llama, and it's way overshadowed by the inch worm!"

Agreed, I'm having a hard time thinking of ideas myself.

Like RE DUND ANT :)

Yeah, baby. Make that redundance evident in your submission and you have it nailed. I need to ponder.

2 days and 17 hours remaining. Only 18 entries so far.

Is everyone waiting for the last hour to enter into this challenge? Or are there gonna be very less participants in this challenge? Considering previous submission trends, it should have had close to 60 entries by now.

I see it Judi. The whole conspiracy was around you and your ghost accounts. Poor Don had to undergo some mental trauma on this account. Using an image analysis, somebody has already tried to prove that Judi and Cutout could be one person. So we now know how you get so many ribbons. :P

Can a subject be an element or vice versa in the context of this challenge? By that I mean.....can water or sky or fire for instance be a subject? Or can a subject only be an object, a creature or a human being or a thing?

My gut tells me that a shot of a boat on the ocean with a big sky above fits the challenge theme as the boat, the sky and the ocean are all of equal visual importance to each other. 2 Elements and 1 object but 3 subjects.

My guess would be that some people would claim it's one subject with a background. You need to determine what's a subject and what's background. If the ship is interesting, but the sky and ocean are plain, that would be a background. If there was a storm, nasty sky, nasty ocean and boat, then they would be of equal visual importance.
