2010 DPC User Rankings (Week 13)

Sorry it took me so long to get this weeks ranking posted. I'm still having trouble getting the previous week rank to match so I put a link to the right so you can view week 12 and compare.

Thanks so much for the huge effort you put into this Scott.

Just wondering though, why am I ranked below people when my average is higher and I have entered the same number of challenges? I don't mean to sound like a sore loser, I just don't understand.

ETA: something to do with the percentiles?

I tried it and got this message:

That's fabulous Scott.

So basically, a high score doesn't help as much in a high scoring challenge where you rate 10th, as much as a lower score in a low scoring challenge where you rank 1st?

Your right. You may score a 6 in one challenge and your percentile would be 90% but a 6 in another challenge my only yield a percentile of 80%. By using these three criteria, including entries, it evens out the playing field.

Had this ranking system not been in place, we would not be knowing this precisely and quantitatively how we are doing.
