Hi my name is Emily & I'm a 16 year old photographer from Toronto. I have some experience taking pictures but now I want to go pro... so if there are any photographers in Toronto who need some assisting I'm out there to offer a helping hand.
Most of all, I am here to learn. :D |

Welcome to DPC ,  EmilyYip, who is looking for a tip. I hope that you will have an enjoyable time here, and learn a lot about shooting. It's also a good place to work out some details about how and what you actually are drawn to shoot and to work out a style that suits your desires as a photographer.
ETA, Week days, daytime US is the best time to get responses on a thread. You may want to give this one a bump sometime tomorrow. They roll up the sidewalks around here at midnight NY time.

DPC is a great place to learn, it is a wonderful community of excellent photographers and fabulous people all more than willing to go out of their way to offer help.
It has been a landmark in my photography learning and I am confident it will be a fantastic springboard from which to launch your career.

Bump,, to add; I see by your Flickr postings that you do a photo a day (PAD) there. You might enjoy some of the side challenges here at DPC if you become a member later. The side challenges are usually one month informal challenges where photos of one theme are posted daily for the other participants to share and comment on. It's a fun way to get feedback, and to share feedback.

DPC'ers in Toronto
If you don't like links: DPC homepage- Community (at the top) - Photographer Profiles - search by typing Toronto in the location box. You should be able to find at least 3 DPC'ers on your block there.
Look at profiles to see who has been active, and they may be able to connect you with others.
Also search for Toronto GTG threads in the forums section in Community. The ones who have been at previous GTG's are likely to be most active.
