My shots have slipped into a number of NY publications over the years but I'm happy about this one because they (NY Mag) have always been really great on food and restaurant coverage. I've had a few published there but I wasn't aware at the time and didn't manage to get a copy or see them in print...so, in essence this is kind of a first.

New York Magazine link...

I'm not sure yet, what they look like in print but...whatever, it's all a good thing. - Cheers!

Salmon on Toast
Bone Marrow <<< killer dish

I take it from this that you get to eat the props after a shoot? Great work -- congratulations!

Fully capable...ready, willing and able! ;)

General- Yes, I eat my subjects from time to time. The quicker I work, the better they taste.

yanko-I'll never lose my Street cred... though, your right...I may be getting a little soft in the middle. Better watch out.

Update: They look nice in print.

Steve,

Congratulations on your publication in New York Magazine!

I'm really envious. Not only do you have beautiful food to photograph, you get to eat it too!

Well, no autographs but I did have a good idea for the GTG to help people save some money.

Instead of going to nice restaurants, we can eat pictures of food at a fraction of the cost...plus their high in fiber!

Congrats!!! :)

If you're going to go that route, then we can bypass the high air fare, and you can just email me a nice dish of pasta or maybe some Nova lox and a real New York bagel ... ;-)

Congrats! That's quite awesome!

And in reference to General's post, yuummmm NY bagels...
